Arvindh Manoharan : The Untold Story !!!

The Man & The Journey You Dont Know !!!!
Hi world,

This is arvindh, neither a writer nor a blogger. Definitely not a philosopher too.
To be honest I couldn’t able to think there is so much noise around me.
Its 4 A.M in the morning but still there is a gaadi running every 5 seconds in Azad Nagar,Andheri West.
And now they have started the orchestra too. Broken windows and alarm of my house owner gave me these experiences.

Too much of frustration in my story?

After all, i am a Chennai guy who is new to Mumbai and whatelse can you expect from me?
When Chetan bhai can write his experience about  Chennai . Then why not  I can try for Mumbai.

Really couldn’t find many people in Mumbai to share my experiences much.
And everyday a unique experience or a frustration happens. Its better I express those Wierd  feelings in a Word document than to a Sarcastic Mumbai wala.
I knew around 325 hindi words, so I will be using some hindi words in my writings.

                                                       A QUICK FLASHBACK
Me : Mera Naam Arvindh hae
Mumbai Guy : Surname kyage bhaiya?
Me : Surname Nahi hae
MG : Areee Parivar naam?
Me : Nahi…..Pithaji naam hae sur naam hae !!!
This happens everytime I meet a Mumbai wala.

New lifestyle

New challenges

New responsibility

and finally
A New confidence is born.

When I came back to Chennai, I realized that I have been influenced by the people around me for the past 22 years.
I chose a field of career that matches my skills with my interests. Event Management.
Again People started Influencing me. So I decided to start my career in a different place.

Initially I was searching for a job in that field but recruiters said my Degree is nowhere related to that field. And they started asking years of experience.
So I decided to join a Full time PGDAME course in NIEM,Mumbai.
My family was my only support and my Dad played a major role in it.
And I never made him proud till now.
Believe me, friends help you most of the time in your life than your relatives.
Luckily wherever i go I made some good friends everywhere, school, college, jobs.
Most of my friends are talented, responsilble, and have so many problems in their life.
But they still spend some time to make me happy everytime.
One of those good friends helped me to relocate to Mumbai.

                                                                        MUMBAI

Airoli,Thane
A PG with wifi and food at reasonable rate.
More than a PG, it’s a mini Andhra.
My roomates is telugu.
My food is telugu.
My TV channels is telugu.
Everything is telugu.
But my engineering college is nowhere different than this.
Got many friends over there.

Stayed with roomates who celebrated birthdays every weekend.
And the climate of Mumbai is totally pagal. Both Sun and Rain play basketball in Mumbai city.
But the major disaster is travelling to my college.
Airoli to Vile Parle.
I have to take a share auto and 2 trains which will take 2hours Max to reach my college.
I always feel like john cena who won world heavyweight championship, when I get a seat in a train.
Believe me, people change into zombies when they see a train in Dadar, kurla or bandra.
You will be both physically and mentally assaulted in Mumbai trains. But the good part is, it will increase your fighting spirit.
So Always remember let yourselves flow in Mumbai train crowd,if you resist, you will get injured.
A New Life without my parents, friends and food started to suck, until July 11.

                                                                           NIEM

Is this the place that I meant to be in?
Thoughts started flowing, until a guy put an end to it. He was the first guy who spoke for me and my career, to my dad.
Being one of the main co-ordinator of Niem, he did an excellent job.
First day of my college.
Reached Early.
Happiness is when you talk to the first person in college for 15mins in English, atlast he turns out to be a guy from Chennai.
But that first day, that class, those people, told me that I am in right place.
The lecturers were top class and they inspire you to the core,
Students came from different parts of india right from indore till Ooty.
Mostly extroverts, but with similar goals.

Some gave up their Accenture, Infosys, CTS jobs for this career,

And it is always tough to compete with those guys, who knows hindi as well.
Each state people formed their own group, and they all united by hindi.
So by default tamilnadu became a separate country.
In Initial stage, I was left out kid in class, which is unusual for me.
I was insulted, humiliated, cheated, robbed, starved but I never got disappointed with Mumbai.
Each day I learned new things, which gave an idea of survival of the fittest in this city.
The one good thing about my life, I get good friends everywhere,  even in Mumbai too.
They were kind, funny, generous and creative.

I found my mistake when I went for my first event when I felt difficult to interact with people.

My Niem friends helped me to learn hindi, they translated and helped me in class and especially in events.
When I took initiative, everything changed.
I became confident to talk with everyone, got many friends

events became colourful with celebrities

food and life became tasteful in Mumbai.

Theme party

Concerts & Movies

Matunga Tamil food and Vile parle Crispy food

Marine drive

Udaipur trip

 Juhu beach

and its just a beginning of my life..

                                                                   THE SECRET

Dream, Visualise, and feel happy that you achieved it.
It is the only secret of Successful people as per the secret book (thanks to mom).
When I turned back in my life, everything happened is what I visualized.
Negative thoughts, bad results.
Positive thinking, Happy life. My only motto.
To be Continued…..
